As Principal in charge of design at PDR in Houston, Wayne Braun develops design solutions for major projects. A nationally recognized designer, Wayne creates a design solution that resolves the project's objectives of: image, quality, budget and time. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University of Kentucky.
In addition to his product designs for HBF which include the recent Horizons Office Collection, other designs have been produced and marketed by product development work for Schafer Brothers, Metropolitan Furniture Corporation, Nevins International and Halcon Corporation.
The Institute of Business Designers (IBD, now known as IIDA) Product Design Award was presented to HBF and Braun for the Ribbon Edge Casegood Series and the Scrowle Lounge Seating Series in 1988 and 1989, and a "Roscoe Award" for the Ribbon Edge Casegood Series in 1988. Wayne was also the recipient of the 1986 Dupont Antron Design and has received three Houston ASID and AIA Awards for Interior Architecture.
Some of his past and current projects include: Arthur Anderson, Exxon Company, Mitchell Energy & Development Corporation, Sonat, Vista Chemical Company, BHP Petroleum (Americans), Inc., Maxxam, Inc., Olson & Olson, Sumitomo Corporation, the 1990 Economic Summit and the list goes on and on. |
