With crisp, no-nonsense silhouettes and a meticulous attention to detail, Barbara Barry’s furniture designs for HBF are inspired by the personality, history, and architecture of Southern California. While each collection has a distinctive look, one constant thread throughout is simplicity—something Barry strives for in everything she creates. Her Salon chair’s serpentine lines and sublime contours create a comfortable profile that speaks to the human form. Designed with building lobbies and hospitality settings in mind, Salon is typically laid out in pairs or used as an occasional chair.

Sculpted for exceptional seated comfort, November has an intrinsic appeal that derives from its ample proportions, tailored upholstery and unifying chamfer detail.  The November seating collection exemplifies Ruiz’s philosophy that function “is fundamental,” a product’s “reason for being.” The aesthetic qualities of the design flow from proper function, and it can easily adapt to any environment.
