Borrowing the Japanese word for simplicity, and informed by shoji screens and tatami mats, HBF’s Kanso is a multilevel seating system that easily adapts to its space and people. Sturdy steel bases come in chrome plate, brass plate, or powder-coated black, white, or gray. High-density foam cushions accept a nearly infinite range of covers. As for the integrated tabletops, choose from dozens of laminates and veneers. Kanso’s design lightness fits into any contemporary work and public spaces, accommodating users for activities such as quick confabs, solo brainstorming, or leisurely lunches.

With the flexibility to mix and match finish materials, sizes, and shapes, the Meki Table Collection designed by Todd Bracher for HBF is truly customizable, making each table uniquely its own. Designed to blend in seamlessly with any contract interior spaces—such as breakout rooms, independent work spaces, café settings and more, the Meki tables are truly practical and easy to specify.

Meki supports the demands for well-designed tables with built-in connectivity options.

  • Available in five table height adjustments: Occasional (16”–18”), Continental (26”– 27”), Standard (28”– 29.75”), Counter (36”– 37.6”), and Bar (41”– 42”).
  • Undermount perimeter power options are also available: future-proofed for easy upgrades that do not sacrifice the integrity of the furniture surfaces.

Designed by Todd Bracher, HBF’s Nest is a comprehensive furniture collection created to foster social connection and nurture collaboration. The guest and lounge seating enhance the versatility of functional occasional tables; the combination offers a refined solution easily adaptable to many environments. The Nest chair, in particular, combines semi-translucent mesh back and steam-bent wood and gives it a sense of lightness and sophistication—enhanced by the gracefully slanted arms and beautifully detailed polished base. The futuristic Nest series look and feel different from traditional lounge furniture, while speaking to HBF’s expertise in wood through the framing.

Torre’s shape is inspired by a simple cake platter: a curved top with a column standing below that gently narrows towards the center and widens towards the base. Designed by HBF’s in-house team, Torre is an expertly crafted solid wood conference table that supports the demands of today’s modern technologies. Its clean look makes it particularly flexible in design-forward workplaces as well as hospitality settings and beyond.

Torre can also support the demands for built-in connectivity and ergonomic solutions vis-à-vis an approach rooted in “Work Geometry”—human-centric considerations for products and spaces:

  • Available in five table height adjustments: Occasional (16”– 18”), Continental (26”– 27”), Standard (28”– 29.75”), Counter (36”– 37.6”), and Bar (41”– 42”).

New undermount perimeter power options are also available: now future-proofed for easy upgrades that do not sacrifice the integrity of the furniture surfaces.

Inspired by the classic design aesthetic of mid-century modernism, the Dialogue chair and ottoman provide an intuitive and purposeful solution for the modern workplace. Designed by Gensler, the chair features an integral task surface integration on the arm and a self-return metal swivel base offering extra flexibility. Its ergonomic design makes comfort a priority, as does the companion ottoman that prompts users to kick back and relax. While productivity oriented, Dialogue is equally suitable for casual conferencing or as a sculptural piece for lounges and lobbies.
