Inspired by the classic design aesthetic of mid-century modernism, the Dialogue chair and ottoman provide an intuitive and purposeful solution for the modern workplace. Designed by Gensler, the chair features an integral task surface integration on the arm and a self-return metal swivel base offering extra flexibility. Its ergonomic design makes comfort a priority, as does the companion ottoman that prompts users to kick back and relax. While productivity oriented, Dialogue is equally suitable for casual conferencing or as a sculptural piece for lounges and lobbies.

HBF teamed up with designer and longtime partner Michael Vanderbyl to create the Conexus lounge chair and ottoman collection. Conexus is designed to be grouped with multiple chairs around a table or in a private office standing on its own. Featuring a sculptural shape, durable upholstery, and slim profile, Conexus provides a comfortable and modern seating solution for collaborative work environments, lobbies, hospitality environments, and more.

Todd Bracher’s latest collection, Cityscape 2.0 for HBF reimagines modular seating for public spaces with a compelling new planning geometry and refined detailing. Cityscape 2.0’s unique pointed back cushions evoke accent throw pillows to provide a palette for creative design expression with a wide range of HBF Textiles. Their residential-inspired form belies their durability — they have been engineered to withstand the demands of high-traffic spaces with a foam construction to maintain their form and incorporate fasteners to prevent movement.  Thoughtfully considered modules like the ‘Cityscape Pentagon’ evoke comfort and progressive design, empowering designers to program ‘rambling’ lounge landscapes with 120° & 150° planning possibilities. As a timely response to requirements for social distancing, Cityscape 2.0’s integrated table modules maintain required spacing and allow for easy reconfigurations in the future.

With a wink and a nod to French design visionary Charlotte Perriand, Barbara Barry created the Charlotte Lounge Series for HBF. Shaped with a high back and wrapping the body in a gentle arc, this graceful seating collection brings an attitude for versatility and functionality to modern contract design settings such as hotels, lobbies, and office amenities spaces. The exposed wood frame option outlines the seating’s elegant profile, and further emphasizes its architectural lines without sacrificing comfort and style.

The Asa Collection blends European sophistication with modern ergonomics. Designed by Todd Bracher, the lounge chair’s natural “S” curve supports active posture and comfort. Ideal for both collaborative spaces and relaxed lounges, Asa pairs effortlessly with an occasional table for a refined, flexible solution.

Barbara Barry’s Salon chair’s serpentine lines and sublime contours create a comfortable profile that speaks to the human form. Designed with building lobbies and hospitality settings in mind, Salon is typically laid out in pairs or used as an occasional chair.

Based in California, designer Barbara Barry’s Scoop chair for HBF offers a genial alternative to austerity, with an emphasis on curves and comfort. Shaped to cradle the seated body, Scoop combines gentle contours with modern lines and practical values attuned to contemporary lounge settings.

Designed by Barbara Barry, the KUBI Collection is defined by its solid wood architecture and unadorned details. Modular and meticulously crafted, KUBI punctuates a room as a signature piece or reimagines traditional spaces as ‘villages.’ The elemental forms create a harmonious environment for reflection and connection.

With its clean lines, minimalistic design, and focus on user experience, the KUBI Lounge Chair accentuates a space as a statement piece or exists as a modular interlocking unit for collaboration.

Embodying a European sense of scale and style, the Asa Collection of lounge chairs and occasional tables infuses healthful ergonomics and flexibility to its design.Drawing upon his experience in many of the Old World’s design centers, designer Todd Bracher incorporates the natural “S''-shaped curvature of a human spine in the chair’s design to promote active posture, making Asa an ideal choice for collaborative settings as well as standard lounge applications.

Alda Ly Architecture's (ALA) ethos of inspired design-thinking and close attention to user experience inspired the creation of Bao, a pouf that is incredibly welcoming, emotive, and functional. Constructed to embody the experience of a lounge chair, its dual-density cut-foam cushion and webbing provides optimal, firm support for sumptuous comfort. Bao retains its playful and collaborative spirit while serving as a space-saving and stylish seating companion for lively conversations, ideal for both professional and private settings.
